Sliding Bearing Liner
Used as a liner in medium-load sliding bearings and structure transport. Grease held in the dimples keeps feeding, cutting friction and wear sharply.
A low-friction sliding sheet whose face is machined with a recessed dimple pattern to cut friction and vibration. Each dimple acts as a reservoir for grease or oil, feeding lubricant while the part slides, and only the flat land between dimples touches, which sharply reduces real contact area. The material is a low-friction PTFE or PTFE-with-graphite grade.

The table below describes a standard SKU. Every line is made to order against your drawing, load case and friction requirement. Ask us about special temperature or chemical duty.
| Property | Value | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Sheet Size (W × L) | Per drawing | Cut to size · bonding available |
| Sheet Thickness (t) | Per drawing | Set by load and friction conditions |
| Dimple Diameter (Ø) | Per drawing | Sets how much grease each dimple holds |
| Dimple Depth (d) | Per drawing | 40–60% of sheet thickness |
| Pitch (center-to-center) | Per drawing | Sets contact ratio and friction behaviour |
| Contact Ratio | Per drawing | Real contact area against total area |
| Material | Per drawing | Virgin or filled grade |
| Coefficient of Friction (grease) | Per drawing | Lubricated, room temperature |
| Operating Temperature | Per drawing | Wide range, PTFE based |
| Max Contact Pressure | Per drawing | For a filled grade |
| Machining | Per drawing | Custom pattern and spacing |
| Ordering Basis | Per drawing | Carrier bonding and assembly optional |
Dimples machined into unfilled PTFE sheet. Lowest friction (μ 0.04), for precise, lightly loaded sliding parts. Chemical and medical grades available.
Graphite improves wear resistance and heat transfer. The standard grade for industrial sliding bearings and structure transport liners.

Eases stick-slip at sliding contacts on machinery. Less contact area, plus the cushioning of grease in the dimples, brings down vibration and noise.
Heavily loaded moving parts on plant, presses and machining lines. Contact damage is held down and regreasing intervals stretch, so maintenance eases.
