Bridge Bearing
Absorbs thermal expansion, contraction and vibration in a bridge deck while transferring load to the pier. Also takes seismic load.
A multi-layer bearing built from rubber, steel and a lubricating face. It absorbs vertical and horizontal movement under heavy load, protecting the structure above and the support below. Used as a bridge bearing, a seismic isolator and a machine mount.

The table below describes a standard SKU. Every line is made to order against your drawing, load case and vibration requirement. Ask us about special temperature or chemical duty.

A low-friction surface that allows small horizontal movement against the structure above. μ ≤ 0.08.
Restrains bulging of the rubber and spreads load evenly. The material can be specified by the customer.
Vulcanised to the plates above and below. Carries vertical load while absorbing vertical and horizontal movement. Shore A 60±5.
Mirrors the upper plate to hold the rubber in shape, and passes shear force to the base plate.
Fixes to the substructure through four Ø24 anchor bolt holes. Thickness and hole layout can be customised.
Absorbs thermal expansion, contraction and vibration in a bridge deck while transferring load to the pier. Also takes seismic load.
Sits between the vibration source — press, turbine, generator — and the foundation to block transmission.
Dissipates seismic energy through shear deformation of the rubber, for buildings, data rooms and critical equipment.
